In this new edition of MWC Barcelona 2024, from MWCapital we unite the history and innovative tradition of Barcelona and Catalonia with the present and the future, putting people and sustainability at the center.

We create a historical journey, an exhibition from the past to the present and the future, recreating the sectors that have generated the most important changes in the industry and the economy and that continue and will continue to position Barcelona as a technological industrial hub of reference in Europe.

In this edition we have high-level partners who are revolutionizing the four leading sectors -health, mobility, textile and energy- to understand how innovation and technology are shaping a promising future for all of them.

In addition, we have again the collaboration of IAAC (Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia) to design the iconic space at MWC that will host all these experiences and activities.

Thus, we value the assets of the city in terms of digital economy and new industries, showing strategic sectors such as health, mobility, textile and energy, with the help of recognized partners that have high innovation projects in Barcelona.

MWCapital, as a central actor of innovation in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Europe, promoted 10 years ago the creation of 4YFN as a meeting place for the ecosystem at MWC Barcelona, with content and activities aimed exclusively at scientists, entrepreneurs, investors and startups. Thus, it stands out with its own stand at 4YFN, where more than 20 activities aimed at the entrepreneurial community are planned, including presentations of projects and startups, workshops on topics related to technology transfer, round tables with experts, etc.

In addition, you will be able to get to know more than 30 Deep Tech startups created in the last year through its Venture Building program, The Collider, as well as the Tech 2 Market program of the European Innovation Council, of which it is a partner, with projects of high scientific-technological innovation that will be present at the “Startup corner” attached to the stand.

Do not miss it, you will be able to connect with startups and entrepreneurs in highly innovative sectors, such as Clean Tech, health or industry 4.0.

Talent Arena is a MWCapital event that revolves around talent and digital skills, offering a platform for both competition and collaboration. It is not only a meeting to foster networking within the professional technology sector, but also a space to address the latest innovations in today’s most impactful technology fields –such as AI, cybersecurity or Data Science, and the gap between skilled professionals and the current digital landscape.

Talent Arena stands out as the hub of digital talent within MWC Barcelona 24, with a 48-hour Hackathon, presentations by +30 leading speakers from the ICT world, 18 technology exhibition stands and 13 workshops with a practical learning application. All of them activities designed to connect talent with industry leaders in an environment of collaboration and continuous professional growth.

Aimed at all MWC24 and 4YFN attendees, the third edition of BEAT BARCELONA will combine an offer of content, networking and gastronomy linked to the spirit and the Barcelona brand. This space will allow to expose and value the assets of the city, contributing to its economic promotion.

The BEAT BARCELONA 2024 concept aims to connect congress attendees with the way Barcelona does things. It is also the official afterwork of the MWC and a networking space open to all visitors.
